I was lucky enough to attend a class taught by Jane Davenport this weekend at Donna Downey Studios in Hunterville, NC. Boy was it fun to spend a whole long weekend creating art. Jane is a great teacher and a lot of fun. We created a book of beautiful mermaid creatures. Here is one of my pages in progress.

Very nice. The human or in the case half human figure is not easy to draw. Very nice.
