Just a Note Cards

I sent a note to my daughter's teacher the other day and thought I sure wish I had a nice little card. So here are some cards I worked on this evening. They went very quickly with the new Memory Box stamps. I just love these images. I used Brilliance, Stazon and Colorbox inks. I accented the flowers with Stickles.

I adore you :Gothic Arch Challenge Dogs

The theme at Gothic Arch this week is dogs. I thought this would make a great valentine's card. I made this arch using an image from Nancy Dooren and Studio G stamps. The buttons are SEI.

TMTA Geometry

This is my first attempt at packing tape transfer method. Of course I didn't notice until the end that it is for laser printed photos but here are my results with an inkjet. I kind of like the faint image. A very erie feeling.
Here is a link to Lori Roberts website where she explains the process. The stamps are Studio G and paper is Basic Grey.

Saturday Image Bonus 22

Here is my Saturday Image Bonus for this week. I am still on a Valentine's theme. The first two are postcards from the early 1900's. The third is a cutout from a card from the same period. The last item is an add for The President Suspenders from 1903. This image was quite damaged but I touched it up. As always feel free to copy any of these images by clicking on the individual image and saving the large photo. I just ask that when you post it you put a link to my site and post a link in the comments section of this post so we can all enjoy your artwork.

Saturday Image Bonus 21

So for the next few weeks the theme will be valentine's. Here are some postcards and a card I have been collecting. They are all from the early 1900's except the ballerina card who looks like mid 1900's. The most interesting thing is the messages on these cards. Many are to relatives of the same sex.
I tried to clean of as much of the postmarks and blemishes as I could. These were in very bad shape.
As always please feel free to use these in your artwork. Please post a comment in the comments section if you use one so we can all enjoy it and of course link it back to me so other people can enjoy the images.

The winner is........

The winner of the image bonus giveaway is Katey. Congratulations Katey! You have won ten pieces of antique lace trim. Contact me with your details so I can send it out to you.

This week at TMTA the challenge is to use a photo stamp. I combined two stamps here on glossy paper. The lighter ink is Versafine and the darker is Stazon. It created almost an irridescent effect on the finish ATC.
