Here are five pages from the May 26, 1900 Harper's Bazar magazine. It was published weekly. I was lucky to pick up over two dozen on my last few trips to the flea market. They are really remarkable and I will be posting more pictures from the magazines over the next few weeks. As always feel free to use any image for your personal use only. Do not post the orginal images anywhere else on the net, but feel free to link anyone here. I ask that if you use one that you link it back to this message so we can all enjoy your artwork.

Beautiful - New Prima Stamps

I just love the new Prima Clear Stamps Crenee I got last week. They are wonderful for collage. There are six sets. I got three with my Mother's Day money. Here is a card I made mixing the sets. I used Memento Ink and colored the images with my Copic markers.

Paper Casting

So I thought I would try the GPP Street Team Crusade this time. The technique is paper casting. I used Paper Clay which made the process simple. You just take the paper clay and lay it on your mold. Make sure that you press it into the mold to get details. Dry the clay overnight. The mold is a cookie mold from Deemco.

Another peak

Here is another peak at one of my new stamps. It is the stamp in the center of the card. I am still trying to tweak some of the images in my stamp line. It is a long process and I may end up changing a few out that are not translating well into stamps. This is card is for the Crazy Amigos Challenge birthday card.

Create by Hand Pin

This is a pin for Create by Hand challenge. I stamped the butterfly with Stazon on metal and colored it in with Adirondack markers. The face was stamped on a stone. All the charms and stones are from Sugar Beads.

Umbrellas

I've always loved old pictures with parasols. These are from my collection and most can be found in my Saturday Image Bonus posts. This 8x10 project is for the Layers of Color challenge Umbrellas. The quote is The parasol is the umbrella's daughter, by Emily Dickinson
The parasol is the umbrella's daughter,And associates with a fanWhile her father abuts the tempest And abridges the rain. The former assists a siren In her serene display; But her father is borne and honored, And borrowed to this day.

Le Parisien

Skinny Saturday started again a few weeks ago. There is always a great challenge there. I am so glad they are back.

The stamps are from Prima and Cavallini. I just love the new Prima stamps. There are 6 sets in this series called Clear Stamp Crenee. They are wonderful for collages.

Saturday Image Bonus 37

This weekend is Memorial Day here in the USA. According to Wikapipedia "Memorial Day is a United States Federal Holiday that is observed on the last Monday of May (observed in 2008 on May 26). It was formerly known as Decoration Day. This holiday commemorates U.S. men and women who have died in military service to their country. It began first to honor Union soldiers who died during the American Civil War. After World War I, it was expanded to include those who died in any war or military action. " In honor of all our soldiers and public servants I have posted these old photos from my collection.

I hope you enjoy them. As always feel free to use any image for your personal use only. Do not post the orginal images anywhere else on the net, but feel free to link anyone here. I ask that if you use one that you link it back to this message so we can all enjoy your
