Altered Book

For Saturday's Workout here a few pages from an altered board book I am working on. I collaged a cd that did not work anymore on the center of the page. The tune is an old favorite from when I was a child. Though I must not have realized what it was about. The stamps are Lost Coast, Starving Artist and PSX. I have included a few images for you.

Freedom

Today is Memorial Day in the USA. Every year we take this day to honor all our soldiers. This is a collage I made a few years ago for Memorial Day. I thought I would post it today as a tribute.

Kissing Giraffes

Here is my entry for TMTA this week. The theme is wild animals. The stamps are by Sherill Kahn, Invoke and Stampendous. I stamped on a textured paper to give the skin pattern a little more depth.

Numbers Postcard

Here is a card I made for Sunday Postcard Art using a few stamps from Stamper's Anonymous. I sponged on the color onto the postcard with Distress Inks.

Sparkle

This is for Saturday's Workout. It is a tag I made using OI and Memory Box stamps. The sparkle was made with Stickles glitter glue.

Pink and Green

Here is a pink and green flower tag I made using one of my antique images for Created by Hand. I made the paper flower with punches and lots of glue. The textures backgrounds are embossed with Cuttlebug folders.

Times Flies Birthday Card

This is an altered person collage birthday card I made for a friend of my daughter's. It is so simple to do and her mom loved it so much she told me she is going to frame it. It works great for today's theme at Mixed Media Monday.

The theme at Theme Thursday is music. This is one of those songs I hear in my head. I am Woman, kind of like the little engine that could is an anthem for me to try again. The background is adirondack inks in various shades.
