In Paris

The theme at Created by Hand is anything French. Here are a group of Moo cards I made using Adirondack Inks.

Pink and Green

Here is a pink and green flower tag I made using one of my antique images for Created by Hand. I made the paper flower with punches and lots of glue. The textures backgrounds are embossed with Cuttlebug folders.

Believe Girl

The theme at Created By Hand is Believe this week. For the background I used several Anna Griffin stamps and a few shades of Adirondack ink.

Asian Hearts

For the Created by Hand Challenge this week the theme is hearts. I have been working on my Valentines for awhile. So this was an easy one. I used black gesso for the ground to stamp the hearts. The card opens in the center. The stamps are Paula Best. I hung a circular paper clip with an aquamarine bead on the tie on the side.

Martha Stewart Valentine Punches

Well, Martha has done it again. The Martha Stewart brand of punches has come out with some adorable paper punches for Valentines. Of course I had to pick up a few with a gift card I had from Michael's. I got two border punches and a scalloped heart punch. I will say this batch doesn't seem to have the same quality as the past. I had to play with each one (using tin foil to sharpen, wax paper and a little banging) to get it to work. The scalloped heart still sticks to the inside of the punch and I have to fish it out with a scissor. That said, here is a quick card I put together for the Created by Hand Challenge Love. The stamps are Rubber Cottage and Studio G. The tag is Clearly Vintage stamps. Click over to my other blog Clearly Vintage to see more.

Created by Hand Pastel or Chalk Challenge

The challenge at Created by Hand this week is to use Pastels or Chalk in your work. I have to admit I do not use them very often as they leave my hands feeling dry. This is an experiment using Clay Paper. I used the chalks to color the molded clay paper. I thought they would be a better choice to color the clay.

Batik Christmas Card

This is a Holiday card I made using the Castaway Ink pad by Jaquard. It created this wonderful Batik look. Cardstock is DCDW. It works great for the Red and Green challenge at Created by Hand.

Christmas Tag

This is a tag I made for the Created by Hand challenge Chistmas Tag. I have also included the image I used for you to download.

Thank you Card

Thank you is the theme at Create by Hand this week. Here is my card. The stamps are from Hero Arts and the embossing is a Cuttlebug folder.

ATC Case

Here are two cases I made for ATC's and such from envelopes. I thought they were perfect for the Created by Hand challenge this week Envelopes. I used Distress Inks and lots of stamps. You can find the directions at Inque Boutique. They are so fun and easy to make.
