This is homework from another online class I am taking called Drawing the Girls taught by Martha Lever.
I colored this one with Copic markers. The background is Versafine through a stencil by Tim Holtz. After looking at this one for awhile I decided I needed more interest. So I added tissue paper to the background, silk paint and gesso. The stencil on the shirt is by Tim Holtz.

What a lovely painting - and yes, the second image takes the eye to the face/girl and away from the background.
