I have always admired Sally Jean Alexander and wanted to try soldering but have been lacking tools. So,I picked up this set of tools by Simply Swank last week. They are sitting there and waiting for me but it seems so over whelming all the steps. Have any of you tried soldering yet? Have any tips? Hopefully I will take the plunge this weekend and I will have lots of items to post this weekend.

I just did a soldering class, but it turned out to be hard-core soldering with a blowtorch making jewelry pieces like jump rings and bracelet fasteners, so I still have to work on the Sally-Jean type stuff! I have her book and think I'm just going to try it at home, see what I can do.
