Playing Around With Paper 53 and My New Pen

I am loving the app for the iPad called Paper53.  It is so much fun creating pictures with this app.  A few weeks ago I was at a restaurant drawing and several of the waiters came over to ask me what app it was.  It is one of the most intuitive drawing apps I have used.  It feels the most like using a brush or pen on paper. Yesterday, I received their new pencil made especially for Paper53.  I am still learning how it works but here is a quick face I drew.  What is really cool is you can now blend and shade.  I attempted to do this on the nose and edge of face.

Here is how the pencil looks.  It will take me some time to get the pressure right so I can control the line thickness.
