I made this 3x5 canvas for Mixed Media. The them this week is music. I painted the background with crackle paint, then stamped the music onto the painted background. I'm not sure where I got the image.

WS Glasses

Wednesday Stamper has a challenge this week to use glasses in your project. I made this card. The stamps are Stamper's Anonymous and OI. The lace is from my stash of antique lace and the inks are Adirondack.

Gothic Arch Trash Challenge

So the challenge this week at Gothic Arch is to use trash in your Arch. I used several items from the trash in this arch; an old box, bubble wrap to stamp the circles, postage stamps, a piece that broke off a wicker basket and some foil from the top of a wine bottle. The image is one of mine.

Make a Moo - Favorite Color

To be honest I don't have a favorite color. I love all colors. But if I had to choose I guess it would be blue this week. This is a Moo card. They are small cards that are 1.1 x 2.8 inches. I think I will start using them as cards to give people with my blog address on them. These card is for a challenge at Make a Moo or Two a new challenge site. The stamps are Oxford Impessions and Stampers Anonymous.

Michaela's Africa ATC's - The three friends

The theme this week at TMTA is Africa this week. Before dinner my daughter and I decided to make our ATC's. These are so quick to make and lots of fun to do with kids. The stamps are Gelatins and Stampin Up.

Here is the story Michaela wrote to go with her ATC's.

Once in Africa there lived a crocodile. The crocodile, Crocky loved to eat fish. His friend the jaguar, Spotty also loved to eat fish. He also loved to play with the crocodile. There is an antelope in the wavy grass. Its' name is Annie. One day she went to the river and saw a crocodile and a jaguar playing together. She asked if she could play with them. They said sure. One day a mean young lion came by and he was a bossy, bossy lion. His name was Bossy. The lion told the three friends what to do. They did not like that. They were afraid of the lion and didn't want to get eaten. Two days later they made a lion suit out of grass and they scared the lion away. He was never seen again and the three friends were happy. The end

What have I been up to?

So you are wondering what I have been doing lately. Well I also have another hobby I love, growing plants from seeds. I grow them in my basement and then friends and neighbors enjoy the fruits of my labors. I have been toying with the idea of selling them at farmers markets and such. Well, I am already overwhelmed with plants. As you can see by the photo of the bay trees I could not resist doing a little stamping. Here are some photos of my babies.

Gothic Arch Valentine

Here is my entry for Gothic Arch this week. The theme is Valentine's. I had a wonderful Valentine's Day. We all went to dinner and at the end the restuarant gave my daughter a cute little stuffed bear. She was so excited. I hope each of you had a great day too. This was made with an image from Lisa Vollrath and the stamps are Sugar Lump Studios and Memory Box.
