So here is my first try with this new transfer method using Ranger Paint Daubers as the transfer medium. It came out great. I used an photo printed on regular paper from staples on my Canon MP730. Even though it was an ink jet print it came out great. I used the silver paint so the scan is not completely accurate. I can never get metallic right in a scan. Anyway, you can see that the transfer is great for a first try. See the instructions in the You Tube video below.

a very beautiful transfer
Thanks for sharing this with the image transfer group. I am getting closer to doing transfers again - this may take me there. I did a few transfers of magazine images with lighter fluid back in high school in the 60s. Robert Rauschenberg was known for doing transfers back then.
This turned out wonderful Cora. I only have one paint dabber and it is pink so not sure how it will turn out but bought some metallic acrylic paints to give it a try.
Thanks for sharing this Cora, it was really interesting - I think you did a fabulous job with your image - I'm off to try it out for myself now......!
