Four Cards using Clearly Vintage Stamps

A few of you have asked if I plan to have a Christmas set. I have no plans this year for one but many of the images will work great in Holiday cards. Here are four demo items I made to ship with my wholesale order I received last week. All the stamps are Clearly Vintage. The first two pictures are a Christmas tree ornament. You can purchase my stamp sets at my Etsy site.

Halloween Treat bags

So for Halloween I am making these fun treat bags for my daughter's class. They are super easy. I got the idea from a Martha Stewart kit at Michael's. I wanted it to be a bigger size bag then the one in the kit.

This is just a paper sack, florist tape for the stem and raffia tied to the stem. I used a Studio G stamp and a leaf punch. I'm not sure if I like it with the face on it or not. What do you think?

I am thinking popcorn would be nice inside.

More Jewish New Year Cards

So the Jewish New Year is only a week away and I have only 5 cards done. This is not good. I am waiting for a great new set from Papertry called Mazel Tov. In the meantime I made these cards. The dove on the first card is Penny Black, and the Ten Commandments on the second is from American Art Stamp.

Autumn

Autumn is definitely in the air today. What an appropriate theme for Make A Moo this week! Here is my tiny art. All the stamps are from Studio G.

Dream Tag

The theme at Tag Your It is Dream this week. The stamps were accented with stickles. It doesn't show well on the scan. The stamps are OI and Inkadinkadoo.

Saturday Image Bonus 55

So we are up to 55 posts. Time is flying. I have been collecting and posting vintage images for over a year. Next week I hope to debut my new stamp line inspired by many of these images. The manufacturer emailed me Friday that they have shipped. These stamps will be a great addition to all your collage art as well as every day stamping. Be sure to follow the link to my new blog Clearly Vintage on the side of the page for all the sneak previews. I will probably be moving Saturday Image Bonus to that site so I can keep all the vintage images in one place TBD.
Well this week's Saturday Bonus includes some postcards, ads and trade cards of women. I hope you enjoy.
As always feel free to use any image for your personal use and artwork only. Do not post or sell the original images anywhere else on the net, but feel free to link anyone here. I ask that if you use one in your artwork that you link it back to my site and add a comment to this message with a link to your artwork so we can all enjoy it.

My new stamp line

Some of you may have noticed the link on the side of the page. I finally started a new blog for my stamp line. My stamps are in the mail. So I am very close to posting them for sale. There is so much to do. I am designing the packaging and try to figure out how to sell them. Do I do Etsy, Ebay or Paypal direct? Please follow the link on the side of the page to see and read more.

Peace Tag

The theme at Wednesday Stamper is Peace. When I think of Peace I always think of children. As parents our number one wish is for our children to live in a safe and peaceful world.

I made this tag to represent our children and how they play together and accept each other so easily. If only as adults we could do the same. The stamps are from my new stamp line to be released soon. The background was painted with three colors of paint dabber by Ranger.

Inchie Magnets

I love the inch format and thought they would make another great sneak peek of my three new stamp sets. I have fallen in love with these images and hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.
I did get a call on Wednesday that my stamps are due to be manufactured in the next few days. So I better start getting everything ready. There is so much to do. I've got to figure out how to sell them, design the cover card and all those details. The first release will be small until I see what the demand will be.

One Step Further

So with this card I took the corner rounder method described below a step further. I used the EK Success Corner Rounder Punch Interlaced. I punched the corner rounder around a circle as described in Becca's Blog tutorial. Then I went back in and punched in between the first punches just clipping a bit of the edge. I was left with this great lace circle frame. The flowers are a Martha Stewart punch. The papers are from a new K & Co pad called Blue Awning. I used a small piece of antique fishnet lace for the background and the card is embossed with the Swiss Dot Cuttlebug folder. The stamps are from my new set of stamps coming out soon called In the Garden.

Corner Rounder Card

Becca's Blog had a great tutorial on how to use a corner rounder to make this filigree look in a circle. I used several elements from her card and added my own. I do love this look. I never get bored with my punches. The punch used was the EK Success Card Creator Decorative Corner Slot Punch Venetian. For the background I used two Cuttlebug folders. I'm not sure their names but they are the bird in the tree and the bark folders. The sentiment charm is a Cuttlebug plate. The stamps are Studio G and OI. The pearls are by Kaiser.

Theme Thurday Halloween Tag

This is a Halloween tag for Theme Thursday. The girl is one of my images and the stamps are Studio G. I love to make Halloween tags. They are great to attach to candies and treats.

Pals Slide

This is in honor of the theme at Wednesday Stamper Transparent. This is a plastic slide mount. I stamped the actual plastic cover and placed stamping inside the glass frame.

Best Friends

Here is another sneak peek of my soon to be released Sweet Peas stamp set. The Best Friends stamp is from Studio G. The idea for the card came from Becca's Amazing Paper Grace Blog. The eyelet frame is made using two Fisker's Border Punches - Threading Water and Eyelet Lace. I used watercolor paper to get a good embossed look to the card.
